Pricing (new as of 7/01/2009)

Pricing for CITES Backups is $0.99 per GB/year, and depends on the quantity of data that your system stores on the CITES Enterprise Backup server per day. This includes data from:

• all inactive and active on-site copies of your files
• all inactive and active off-site copies of your files (if you choose a service level with off-site copies)

As of 7/01/2009, there is a $0.01 minimum charge per day for every client registered. This charge is for accounting and administration purposes.

Your CITES Backups charges are based on a daily quantity snapshot of all data that your client stores on the backup server. We add all your daily charges at the end of the billing cycle, to come up with the total charge for your monthly bill; this charge shows up on your university telephone bill as a separate line item.
